Our client is a well-established engineering business in the Scarborough area. They are currently looking for a Technical Service Coordinator to work in one of their key departments.
Reporting into the Operations and Project Manager, you could be scheduling all industrial contract jobs for the engineers across the UK and offshore. Looking at all planned jobs as well as checking engineer reports for any additional works which need to be quoted, and ensuring that all works are completed on time and within cost.
You could be dealing with warranty claims for products, as well as contract repairs whilst keeping the customer updated of their progress at all times. Working with the project managers on their jobs as well as other key departments within the business.
That’s why we are looking for someone who has worked in a similar project /logistics / coordination / installations-based position from within an engineering / manufacturing environment or similar. Someone who has excellent organisational and communication skills with the accuracy to match. Someone who is able to work on their own initiative and manage multiple jobs at any one time.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Thursday 8.30 – 16.50 and Fridays 8.30 – 15.10 (working from home available at the moment until restrictions ease). There is car parking available and a great team working environment.
