Our client is a leading Education based organisation who are looking for someone to join their team as a Skills and Employability trainer for a new project they have recently won. This is a fixed term contract until July 2022 initially.
Working in this newly created job you will be engaging with a number of unemployed individuals to train, develop and support them back into the workplace or education as well as building relationships with businesses across the area to secure work experience placements.
You will do this by creating training sessions for delegates around CV writing, interview skills, and employability skills including time management and organisation etc. Coordinating and managing work experience placements, making sure all health and safety guidelines are adhered to for each placement as well as planning work-based competitions for the learners to take part in.
That’s why we are looking for someone who has worked in a similar role previously / with a proven track record of being able to communicate with people at all levels / businesses of all sizes / a field-based sales role. Someone who has a passion for people, is energetic and able to engage and inspire the learners as well as working with organisations such as the Job Centre on the kickstart scheme and other incentives to support people back into the workplace.
Someone who is self-managed, fully computer literate with Maths and English at GCSE level as a minimum. If you have a training or teaching qualification it would be beneficial, although not essential.
This is a full time role working Monday to Friday 37 hours with car parking, 27 days holiday plus bank holidays.
