Our client is a well-established manufacturing company in Scarborough who are currently looking for a Business Development / Sales person who can come in and help drive their business forward.

Responsibilities

Working in a stand-alone role you could be speaking to new and existing clients over the phone and via email, updating them on new products, up selling / cross selling where you can. Attending trade shows all over the world; speaking to international clients whilst you are there.

Qualities

Generating orders for the company to increase turnover. Managing your existing accounts to look at repeat business as well as maintain a strong working relationship with each of them.

That’s why we are looking for a sales person who has a proven track record of increasing turnover with ideas to generate new clients. Someone who is self-motivated, passionate about what they do with a friendly and approachable attitude.

Experience

Our client is looking for a business development person who is able to close a sale effectively, make the prospecting calls needed to generate meetings as well as orders. A language (Spanish etc) would also be highly beneficial although not essential.

There is a generous package available which would include a basic salary, commission, car etc plus annual profit related bonus. This is a full-time position with international travel required working for a business who have a fantastic reputation in the area for their staff retention levels.
