Job Description

We are looking for a passionate sales account manager initially on a 3 year contract. You will join a small and efficient team to look after clients across the East Yorkshire region.

Engaging with a number of organisations across the region, you will be speaking to business owners and decision makers to book regular meetings so that you can understand their business and the impact they have on the local area. You will then need to explain the benefits and opportunities available to them by working with you and how this would be beneficial to their business and the community.

You will need to attend meetings of relevant organisations, public agencies and interest groups to promote partnership work between the public, private and community sectors. Supporting with the management, marketing and promotion of other projects within the business as well as managing your own clients projects from idea to realisation, and getting direct engagement with other businesses to increase participation. You will also need to promote the organisation and projects in the form of e-shots, blogs, websites and social media.


That’s why we are looking for someone who is extremely passionate about the local area and community engagement with a passion for speaking to people. Someone who has previously worked in a sales account management role and is driven to succeed. Able to listen to their customers and build rapport easily. Maintaining your accounts as well as being able to look at new and inventive ways of getting new business on board.

A strong account management, project management or sales background could be beneficial as well as being able to manage your own workload efficiently. Working in a fast-paced environment, there will also be a lot of administration that needs to be completed for each client, so we are looking for someone who is extremely organised and self-motivated with strong computer skills with MS office and possibly previous use of Adobe, Canva, Coschedule, WordPress or similar.


This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday, predominantly working from home, however the main office is in central Scarborough and you will be required to base yourself from there on occasion for team meetings etc. You will need to have a driving licence and your own vehicle (mileage will be paid). A phone and laptop will be provided.
