Our client is a large well respected business in the Scarborough area. They are currently looking for a Recruitment, Training and Development person to join them covering Maternity leave.
This is a very busy stand-alone job where you could be responsible for coordinating all of the recruitment across the whole business (temporary, contract and permanent roles). Searching for potential candidates on social media as well as advertising all vacancies on the company website and any other relevant job boards as well as liaising with recruitment agencies and the local media.
You will also need to shortlist all CV’s for each job, arrange interviews and support the hiring managers with these if needed. There is an inhouse recruitment and training database which needs to be kept up to date to monitor all applicants.
Coordinating all training for the business is equally as important and keeping all external training partners up to date with the relevant information is essential. There is also training analysis needed on many roles due to the nature of what they involve for Health and safety reasons.
That’s why we are looking for someone who has experience in internal recruitment and training from within a high-pressured environment; being able to recruit for multiple roles at any one time including complex roles from a limited candidate pool. Someone who is fully computer literate with MS office and has the organisational skills to match. We are looking for at least CIPD level 3 and the drive to develop the company’s internal recruitment and training KPI’s.
Overseas recruitment experience would be beneficial although not essential and due to the nature of this role, having a sound knowledge of GDPR and Data Protection laws is essential.
This is a full-time position on a fixed term contract to cover Maternity leave. There are a variety of benefits and carparking available, along with the office being accessible via train if you are commuting from outside Scarborough.
