Our client is a large national business with offices based across the UK. They are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Controller for their Head Office in central York on a twelve-month maternity contract.

Job Details


You could be managing the day to day activities within the department from processing high volume invoices, dealing with enquiries as well as reconciling supplier statements.


You could also be involved in period end processing such as preparing invoice and trade accrual schedules as well as supporting HR with the monthly overtime calculations.


This is a very busy department and this role would be supported by two other junior employees. Our client is looking for someone who has a good purchase ledger background with either AAT level 4 or equivalent along with the computer skills to match. Someone with a good attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

This is a full-time temporary contract for a period of twelve months working 37 hours a week. You would get 25 days holiday plus bank holidays along with other company benefits.
