Our client is a leading food manufacturer based in the Malton area. They are currently looking for a Production Planner to join their ever expanding team.

Job Details


Working in a busy production department you could be producing and issuing daily production plans; considering a variety of factors from the raw material shelf life, sales forecasts, line availability, allergens as well as equipment availability.

You could be managing all materials and stock levels and producing regular reports for the senior management team on excel. The business currently uses excel for all data and reports as they are in the process of creating and implementing a new bespoke system that will be used in the future.


That’s why we are looking for a Production planner who has worked in a similar environment, someone who has excellent problem-solving skills along with the ability to make quick decisions if there are any issues with raw materials shortages or equipment breaks down.

Someone who can work independently and is fully computer literate with MS Excel, Word and Outlook with a strong eye for detail.



This job offers a 42 hour working week (4 days on and 4 days off) working 6am – 6pm with 1 hour paid lunch. Own transport would be essential due to the shifts and location.
