Our client is a growing organisation with sites all over the UK. Their head office is based in the Bridlington area and they are currently looking for someone to come in and join their finance team and process their Payroll for around 1600 employees.

Responsibilities

Working in a busy environment you could be dealing with the end to end payroll process including processing Statutory Payments & Calculations such as SSP, MSP etc, PAYE, Pensions, Year End and P45’s, P60’s and P11d’s.

Qualities

You could also be making sure all payrolls are processed accurately and within set deadlines, these could be 4 weekly or monthly. Analysing and proposing appropriate changes to systems and operating procedures with the intention of ensuring that the payroll department provides a continuously improving standard of service, as well as ensuring effective communication channels are in place within the Payroll department and the wider business to provide a quick resolution to any payroll queries.

Experience

That’s why we are looking for someone who has previous experience in a Payroll position where they have worked on their own initiative. Someone who understands the process from start to finish, even if you need assistance to run it. Someone with excellent numeracy skills and the attention to detail to match. Previous experience with Sage Payroll is highly beneficial.

This is a full-time position with car parking available.
