Our client is a growing legal firm based in central York who are looking for a Legal Secretary to join their team across Wills and Probate and Conveyancing.
Supporting the head of the department, you could be dealing with a lot of audio and copy typing, opening and closing client files, processing all post, booking appointments along with setting up the meeting rooms and organising refreshments.
You could be speaking to clients over the telephone as well as face to face, accurately updating the case management system on a daily basis, preparing invoices to send out to clients in a timely manner as well as processing property searches, dealing with land registry and chasing the other side of the property chain for updates.
That’s why we are looking for secretary who has worked in a firm of solicitors previously, preferable with conveyancing or wills and probate experience. Someone who has a good accuracy and attention to detail with the communication skills to match.
This is a full time position working Monday to Friday 9.00 – 5.00. As a business, our client is very family orientated and support their staff with internal training and development and want to make sure that everyone feels valued and that they can make a difference.
