We are delighted to be working exclusively with the Beverley Building Society for the recruitment of a brand-new IT Technician role within their IT Team. Responsibilities

Reporting to the IT manager, you will be there to offer first line support to all employees, prioritising support calls, tickets and messages as well as making sure all staff are suitably trained on their IT systems.

You will also be involved in a number of projects in line with the IT strategy, successfully adopting technology solutions to drive business process efficiencies and looking after the asset management for all of the IT equipment.

Qualities

That’s why we are looking for someone who has at least one years’ IT experience from within a similar role, first line support or has relevant qualifications, as well as a working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems. Knowledge of network infrastructure would be highly beneficial but not essential.

We are looking for excellent communication skills both written and verbal with strong organisational and project skills such as team working, problem solving as well as being flexible to adapt to ever changing situations and being able to influence others. Someone who is highly motivated with plenty of initiative, a methodical approach and the accuracy to match.

Experience

This is a full-time position – 35 hours per week with the core hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm, but some flexibility will be required due to the nature of the role. Due to COVID-19, the role will be split between working in the Society’s office and home working initially, however, there is the potential for a flexible mix of office and home working to continue beyond this.
