Our client is an international business who are looking for an IT Support Engineer to work at their Head office in Scarborough.
Working in a small team, reporting to the head of IT, you could be dealing with day to day IT queries around hardware, network and software issues including email and printer problems, Wi-Fi connectivity issues, adding printers / scanners to laptops or diagnosing hardware problems etc.
Logging all helpdesk requests onto the system ready to action and flag recurring problems, identifying and escalating issues requiring urgent attention as well as making sure that all IT inventories are up to date to support ongoing or upcoming IT projects.
That’s why we are looking at someone who is keen to continue their career within IT or take that leap after college or University, someone who is level 3 qualified or equivalent or has hardware / software experience within their previous work or hobbies. The ideal candidate will be driven to succeed with a pro-active and problem-solving approach to their work, with a willingness to learn.
Previous experience with Windows based systems or Linux would be beneficial along with an understanding of hardware and software.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours a week with car parking available.
