Our client is a leading manufacturer who are currently looking for an interim HR Advisor to work at their sites in the Malton and York area for a period of 12 months.
Working in this friendly and busy office, you will be supporting the business with everything around Employee Relations from advice and support on appraisals and performance management, disciplinaries and grievances, absence management, contracts and variations as well as redundancy & dismissals, maternity and paternity leave and flexible working requests.
You will also manage the recruitment process from start to finish including advertising jobs, liaising with external agencies, responding to applications, CV screening, coordinating interviews and with offers of employment along with the onboarding process. You will also need to work with the HR Manager around future recruitment planning and needs as well as making sure that all compliance is adhered to.
That’s why we are looking for someone who has worked in a similar HR advisor role before managing the starters and leavers process, someone who is able to step up in the HR Managers absence when required as well as support the HR Administrator with any queries. We are looking for a candidate who is self-managed, friendly and approachable with a proactive approach to their work and excellent ER advice experience and the communication skills to match.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 8.30 – 5.00 with travel to other sites in the area required for meetings. There is free parking available, employee discount scheme and a discretionary bonus along with a number of other attractive benefits.
