Our client is a well established and growing law firm based in central Hull. They are currently looking for an Employment Law Paralegal or HR Advisor to join a small established team.
Working in this busy department you will have a hands-on role dealing with a variety of Employment and HR matters. You will be working closely with a variety of clients providing high level advice and a generalist support to HR functions.
You will be providing full assistance to the fee earners and employment team, preparing staff handbooks, draft contracts of employment and other employment documents and policies as well as draft letters for issues to include, redundancy, grievance, disciplinary, maternity and long-term sickness.
You may also be collating Court Bundles and preparing Court Applications, drafting Witness Statements and producing briefs for Counsel.
That’s why we are looking for a Paralegal with Employment Law experience or a HR Advisor who has a good employee relations background. Someone who can work on their own initiative, dealing with a variety of lower level employment queries on a daily basis.
Someone who is fully computer literate with MS Office and case management systems. A strong attention to detail, with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
This is a full time position working Monday to Friday 9.00 – 5.00 with an hour for lunch, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, cycle to work scheme and various other benefits.
