Our client is a well-established steel framework manufacturer based in the Scarborough area. They are currently looking for an experienced Draughtsperson to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Job Details

Responsibilities

Working closely with Architects and Engineers you could be designing and creating 3D models using their Vertex system, generating general arrangement drawings in 2D for the client’s approval as well as generating assembly drawings for their fabricated projects.

Qualities

You could be producing CSV files from the CAD software for the production team or part drawings for the components. During the whole process you would be speaking directly to the client, Architect or engineer updating them on the progress as well as occasionally going out on site to meet with them face to face.

Experience

That’s why we are looking for someone who has previous experience using Vertex / AutoCAD / Revit / AutoDesk / Tekla / AutoDesk Inventor / Advanced Steel / SolidWorks etc with a strong attention to detail and the ability to learn new software then this could be the role for you.
