Our client is a well-established business in the Filey area who have created a new job as a Digital Marketing and E-commerce executive to come in and support 3 businesses within the group.
Working in this stand alone position you will be looking at ways in which the business can drive traffic to their E-commerce websites and ultimately convert these into orders.
You could be using various external analytical tools including Google Analytics, Google trends, Google Ads etc to look at ways to increase traffic to the website. Looking at paid channels such as PPC, Display Ads, paid social media advertising etc. The earned channels such as positive reviews, media coverage, social media shares etc and then the owned channels like the company website, blogs, social media and email marketing, reporting back to the senior management team to help drive the business forward.
Working in this exciting new role, you will be coming up with new ideas for the E-commerce sites, supporting customer interaction from order through to purchase as well as working with the external website provider on any updates or alterations that you suggest. Looking at customer usability and products on offer as well as maintaining a high level of SEO.
That’s why we are looking for someone who has worked in a Digital Marketing or E-commerce role before. Someone with previous experience of the analytics and ideas on how to drive traffic to these websites as well as then looking at ways of converting this audience into buyers.
We are looking for a motivated and driven individual who has excellent communication skills along with a high degree of attention to detail. Someone who can come in and hit the ground running and is confident in making their own decisions.
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday with car parking available and the ability to work from home on occasion once the role has been established.
