Our client is a leading business with sites all over the UK. Their head office is based in York and they are now looking for a Credit Controller to join their finance team.
Working in a busy Credit Control team you could be assisting with the efficient collection, control and administration of money owed to the business. Chase approximately 20 returned direct debits each week and set up payment plans if needed. Looking at aged debt and liaising with the collections agents and lawyers to chase this further.
You would also need to send out relevant letters and statements to the relevant customers regarding their debt. Resolve any queries around outstanding invoices as well as preparing reports your accounts for the Credit Control Manager.
That’s why we are looking for someone who has a proven track record of working in Credit Control. Someone who is self-managed and driven to succeed with excellent communication and empathy to customers as well as the tenacity to deliver results for the business.
A candidate who really likes working in credit control with good computer skills, specifically Excel as they manage all debt on a variety of Excel reports.
This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours a week with agile working available. There is car parking available and 30 days holiday plus bank holidays as well as a performance related company bonus of up to 5%.
