Our client is a well established animal feed manufacturer and retailer based in the Lancashire area. Due to recent growth they have created a new role for a Commercial Manager to ultimately take responsibility for the business operations, productivity and efficiencies.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the CEO of the business, you could be researching into new commercial opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers as well as negotiating terms  and prices with each of them.

Qualities

This is a busy role which would involve you working with the wider team to promote the business and keep everyone engaged as well as monitor and reviewing sales and supplier activity on a regular basis.

Experience

That’s why we are looking for someone who preferably has an Agricultural background. A Commercial Manager with excellent negotiation and problems solving skills with the ability to work on their own initiative and help to drive the business forward. Someone with a commercial understanding and / or sales background.

This is a full time position working Monday to Friday 8.00 – 5.00 based within the offices.
