Due to company growth, our manufacturing client based in the outskirts of York is looking for an Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join their small finance team.

Responsibilities

Supporting the Finance Manager, you could be accurately inputting purchase invoices onto Sage 50, sending out sales invoices, dealing with any queries and chasing outstanding payments if required.

Qualities

You will also need to accurately input new supplier data onto their new Exact Accounting Software that has been implemented from their head office as well as dealing with the bank reconciliations, staff expenses and any other queries.

Experience

That’s why we are looking for someone who has experience within a similar accounting / bookkeeper position, working on their own initiative with an excellent attention to detail, along with having experience of using Sage 50 or Exact Accounting Software.

This is a full time position working Monday to Friday. There is free car parking, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays along with a pension and death in service policy.  Due to their location you must be able to drive or have access to your own transport.
