Our client is a leading Education based organisation in Scarborough who is looking for someone to join their Skills and Employability team as a support administrator for a new project they have recently won. This is a part time (30 hours) fixed term contract until July 2022 initially.

Responsibilities

Working on a brand-new project, you will be supporting the skills and employability trainers and the rest of the department with any administration they need which includes enrolling the students on to each course; sending out letters and documents, collecting everything back in for compliance as well as updating the CRM system and chasing non attendees.

You will also support the team by tracking their progress with businesses in the area, keeping a track on who are possible employers, their responses and timescales for work placements as well as managing diaries, answering the phone as the first point of contact for the department and ordering stationery and resources when required.

Qualities

As this is a new role within a new project, the duties and responsibilities will evolve with the team and our client is looking for someone who is self-managed, adaptable to change with excellent communication skills both verbally and over email.

Someone who has worked in a small team previously using MS Word, Outlook, Excel and some form of CRM with a pro active approach to their work with the attention to detail to match. Maths and English at GCSE level is essential.

Experience

This is a part time position working 30 hours a week with car parking available and 27 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata). The National Living Wage increases on the 1 April and the salary for this position will increase to £17,221, in line with the government increase.
