Our well-established client based in central Hull is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their busy Purchase Ledger team.

Working in a small, friendly, dynamic office you will be managing the purchase ledger, processing payments and contacting suppliers with any queries in a professional and courteous manner.

You will also need to create reports and financial statements using excel, as well as dealing with any telephone and email enquiries which come into the office.


That’s why we are looking for someone who has previous experience of working within purchase ledger role, with an eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills who can accurately maintain records and work to tight deadlines.

Previous experience of AS400 would be advantageous but not essential, however if you have used other accounting software packages such as SAGE, Quickbooks, Xero etc this would also be acceptable.


This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm.  For the initial training period you will be office based, with car parking available, following on from this the role will be a hybrid of office and home working.
